You pay the manufacturer pharmacy directly - NovoCare Pharmacy for Wegovy, or LillyDirect for Zepbound and Foundayo. They ship to your door. WeightPath MD never handles, resells, or marks up medication.
The pharmacy lets you know directly. After your visit, Dr. Patel sends your prescription to NovoCare Pharmacy or LillyDirect, and they notify you by email, text, or both as soon as it goes through - with next steps for payment and delivery. You never need to check with us, but message us anytime if something looks off.
Yes. Every medication we prescribe - Wegovy pill and injection, Zepbound, and Foundayo - is an FDA-approved, brand-name medication dispensed directly by the manufacturer's own pharmacy.
Both are once-daily pills in the GLP-1 family. The biggest practical difference is how you take them. The Wegovy pill must be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, with plain water only (up to 4 ounces), and you must wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else, or taking other oral medications. Foundayo has no empty-stomach or water restrictions - one tablet once a day, with or without food. Both tablets should be swallowed whole; do not split, crush, or chew them.
Zepbound is a once-weekly injection you can take any time of day, with or without food. You inject it just under the skin of your stomach or thigh (or the back of your upper arm if someone else gives it), rotating spots each week. It comes as a single-dose vial you use with your own needle and syringe, or a prefilled KwikPen that takes pen needles. Every box includes step-by-step instructions.
Foundayo is one tablet once a day - no empty stomach, no special water rules, no waiting to eat. Take it at whatever time works for you, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole - don't break, crush, or chew it.

All visits are virtual - no office visit required. Depending on your state's telehealth rules, your visit may be by video, phone, or secure messaging (asynchronous). When you book, you'll see which visit formats are available based on the state you're in at the time of your visit.
Yes. WeightPath MD uses a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) for scheduling, visits, secure messaging, and your medical records. Your information is encrypted and never sold or shared for marketing.
You pay securely online when you book. Payments are processed through Healthie, our HIPAA-compliant EHR, which uses Stripe for secure payment processing. WeightPath MD never sees or stores your card number.
